2-4 Oct 2017 Montpellier (France)

Welcome to Montpellier for UHPFRC 2017https://uhpfrc2017.sciencesconf.org/data/pages/PONT_REPUBLIQUE_MONTPELLIER_LisaRicciotti_FAS_6832_Copie_light.JPG

UHPFRC 2009 and 2013 international symposiums were organized in Marseille (France) under the auspices of fib, RILEM and AFGC, the French Association for Civil Engineering.

These events helped synthesizing the know-how and appliactions related to Ultra-High Performance Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC). Four years later, projects and constructions using UHPFRC have definitely gained a growing importance in Europe as well as in Asia and North America.

UHPFRC 2017 aims at updating and complementing experience gained in the knowledge and use of UHPFRC, based on recent practice of:

- design of building structures, components, civil works and bridges;

- industrial realizations (both on-site and in precast factories);

- large-scale applications;

- development of standards and recommendations.

We will be pleased to welcome you to Montpellier, the nice city of Southern France where some major recent UHPFRC applications can be visited (Pont de la République, La Mantilla buildings, roofing of the new High Speed Railway Station), for a high level technical event and knowledge boosting opportunity.

Welcome to UHPFRC 2017

Jacques RESPLENDINO, conference chair

François TOUTLEMONDE, chairman of UHPFRC 2017 Scientific Committee
